Gift Card Ice Scraper

Did you know that a credit card or gift card makes a decent windshield ice scraper?

I live in Atlanta. We don't normally have to deal with much ice and snow down here, but we do get frosty windshields in the mornings. I couldn't find my ice scraper this year, so I started using a credit card out of my wallet in a pinch. It then occurred to me that instead of buying a new scraper, I could just make a handle for a used up gift card or old credit card.

It came out pretty good and takes up less space than a typical store bought one. Plus it's prettier.
Instead of boring grip texture, I used snowflake motifs.
