Mini Cut/Print-able Quadcopter
This is a mini quad that you can 3D print, OR laser/cnc cut. I designed it specifically with one of these: http://www.amazon.com/UDI-Axis-Stablized-Quadcopter-Helicopter/dp/B0095BXACK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1420277381&sr=8-2&keywords=udi+816 small quadcopters, however there are many other places to find the correct bits for it. It is made for 4: 7 mm diameter and 20 mm height motors and the flight controller and radio that come with them. The one in the link above is a bit over-powered, so it should fly well with frame and a micro fpv setup. I designed it with both orientations, however, you do not choose, however the board comes programmed is the one you must use. If your flight board is setup to fly with the arms extending outwards from the middle of each of its sides, use that design, if it is made for arms coming out of the corners, use that one. If weight seems to be an issue, I also uploaded versions of each orientation with slightly different legs that take up less space.
IMPORTANT: this is made to be cut out of 3 mm materials, in my case MDF or more likely acrylic sheet, any other thickness will not allow the legs to fit. The 3D printed piece is what you mount the FC in, and I did it this way so that it is easy to modify the main part for your personal setup with whichever camera and stuff.
NOTE: I have not yet uploaded versions of the actual body that are 3D as I am working on finding a good program to convert the files from 2D to 3D. If anyone has one and wants to run them through it I would really appreciate it!
