Summary

A simple park bench. These things are incredibly hard to print in HO scale - so some design compromises were needed to get something chunky enough to print - yet spindly enough to look good at teeny-tiny-scale.

I use "Brim" in CURA and set the brim line count to 4.  You should not need any support material - the roughly 2cm span is easily bridged by even a cheap printer with a decent slicer.</p><p>Even then, I found that out of ten copies I printed, only about four of them survived without one or more legs being broken.   But they print quickly and use vanishingly small amounts of filament - so just print more than you need.</p><p>Print nicely on resin printers.</p></div>

How I Designed This

I measured a real park bench - and compared the scaled measurements with a seated HO scale figurine to get some dimensions, then modeled it in blender.

Making such tiny objects with an FDM printer is "the art of the compromise" - and although this looks chunky in CAD - it looks perfectly right when printed.
