WGS Satellite

This is model is approximately 1:40 scale with a 42-in wingspan. The spacecraft body has been slightly enlarged to show detail better, and measures 7x5x4-in.

The remix source model is a simpler print, but will require painting. It is also smaller scale.

These files should be oriented for printing already. If the Solar Arrays are too long for your print bed, try turning them 45 degrees. This model will need a good bit of super glue. If you choose to scale it down, you may have some difficulty with some of the smaller parts, like the EC horns and star trackers.

.... 0.12 layer height; 0.2 initial layer height (this should make 3 total layers)
.... 3 bottom layers, 0 top layers, 2 walls (this should make the top layer be infill)
....Grid infill, 22%, infill line direction 0 or 90
.... Print an 11th panel with 3 bottom layers at 0.2 height for all layers, which should give you no solar panel texture. Cut it in half with scissors, and glue a half to the back of each solar array, bridging the seam at the halfway point.
