Notched base for manual manual pnp turntable by Unexpected Maker

Essentially, I am tackling the problem with the lid discussed in video at https://youtu.be/scHSrFdWn5k?t=584

I still need to test this, and will need to file the tabs on the edge of the perspex into a v shape.

I included the original for comparison, plus an intermediate design with the "clips", which did not work because the clips broke off.

The final design allows for either just gluing the lid on (as per original design), or if you file the tabs on the lid to triangles, you can twist the lid on/off as there are notches.
