This is an HO scale (1:87) representation of the legendary Altec Lansing Voice of The Theater A2 Speaker System. The VOTT line was introduced in the 1940s and ran for about 50 years. These full-sized monsters, measuring 8 feet tall, 10 feet wide, and 3 feet deep, were originally aimed at the movie theater industry but soon became the house system of choice for stadiums and arenas everywhere. The A2 is a rare find these days, but if you are lucky enough to find one for sale, expect to pay north of $30,000 and add a few thousand more for shipping.
