Print the tpu part at 0.12-0.16 resolution to save some time. I think that the thicker each layer is the more likely it will leak, but don't have enough experience with TPU to know for sure.</p><p>Print the TPU part in TPU (duh!) flat side down. It does not need any supports. Use enough overlapping and top and bottom layers (~6) to get the part mostly airtight. Depending on your settings and your printer and sometimes finnicky nature of tpu (esp. on bowden machines) it might have some small air leaks due to the thin walls (only 2). You can make it airtight by using some kind of coating. I used polyurethane based contact cement that I "painted on" with a small brush.</p><p>As for the top part you can either print it as is using a little bit of support or flip it and use more support but get ready to go top surface finish. I used the latter method using stock cura supports and a 4 line thick brim and removing the supports from the inside of the "cup" was quite easy with some pliers and a flathead screwdriver. No sanding was necessary although smoother finish may help produce a better "sound"</p><p>Bottom part is included for those of you with no access to TPU. Print the bottom part in PLA/ABS/PETG using 0.16- 0.22mm layers to save time. You can join the top part and the bottom part using some bike tubing with a spring/sponge inside to get the fart machine to inflate on its own. I haven't tested the pooter using bike tubing as I had no access to spare one so I eyeballed the dimensions. In case they are wrong let me know and I'll try to fix the tubing channel on the bottom and top parts. Alternatively you can just scale the model by a few % to get it right.</p></div>

Post-Printing

Glue the TPU part to the insides of the top part channel using some flexible glue. I used polyurethane contact cement and it works flawlessly. If the pooter/tooter/fart machine leaks air anywhere you can use some elastic coating to fix that problem easily. Contact cement once again works great, but you must let it cure fully (24-48 hours) so it isn't sticky at all.
