3Denglasse Bong
I decided to try to make a version of the studenglasse that would be 3d printed and use a different valve design. This version has a 2 flip 'cycle' to hit. Start with 3 holes facing up, flip while lighting the bowl so the three holes face down (when 3 holes are facing DOWN this is the 'hit' flip where air is coming from the intake AND going out the outtake), then plug the outlet with your thumb and flip so the three holes face up (this is the air filter flip, air moves from one chamber to the next, no hit yet), at this point the bong has hit the bowl and filtered the smoke one last flip so the 3 holes face DOWN and the smoke comes out the outlet (you may need to do multiple cycles to clear the air in the bong as this version keeps some smoke inside and hits over multiple cycles)
Print the bong adapter and 3 pipes (2 go in the inlet holes and 1 in the outtake port so you can smoke), alternatively just print the bong adapter and get 10mm pipes from home depot.
The prototype I made has normal ball bearings inserted into the indents you see on the sides, with the bong inlet adapter attached. I have a small one hitter I use with this that fits in the adapter but it could be edited to fit full bowls.
This is a very rough version, make sure to screw on your jars well. If you want to 'properly' assemble it, get some 10mm pipe and 8mm pipe from home depot. You can fit 10mm piping into the intake and outtake holes to be flush with the ball bearings. Get some silicone material or teflon tape to get a seal when you put in the ball bearings. Standard ball bearings have a 8mm hole through the middle, insert your 8mm pipe to mate into the 10mm pipe inside. You can use 10mm piping inside the bong instead of using the printed piping as well.
Pipes print without supports, the main bong needs supports.
