Summary

Another smoke grenade produced in 1942, this egg grenade had 3 ports for venting smoke and had a burn time of just over a minute. The grenades themselves were not remarkably effective, but could be adapted to launch out of a flare gun.

This design is hollow to allow smoke bombs to be inserted for a reenactment.

This would notably be used with an ANZ29 friction fuse.
