Summary

I got tired of the door dropping on my head when retrieving prints. I know it's simple, but that's the point. I did want it to be multi-function so it will double as a latch on the door to keep the door shut. Made it with TinkerCad.

Instructions

Simple to use. If you want the door up and you have the hood attached to your D4s, then place the two pointy ends down and overlap the door edge and the hood edge

I also made it multifunctional so when it's not holding the door open it doesn't get lost. I put a hole in it to place over the bolt to the center/left of the front door/window so that during prints it can hold the door closed. Mine has a small gap with the door slightly ajar on that right side, and this fixes that annoyance.. Plus it just looks like a latch to remind the kids not to play with it or put things inside.

You may have to ream the hole a bit. I didn't want it tooo lose.

The main difference between files is one is plain, and one has D4S inbedded into it. you decide based on your print ability what you wish. Otherwise, the functions are identical!
