Sanfilippo Syndrome is a rare and devastating disease that affects one in 50,000 births. Is one of the more than forty lysosomal diseases , namely those caused by any lysosomal enzyme dysfunction . The disease is also known as Mucopolysaccharidosis type III ( MPSIII ).
