TK - RC Twin 64mm SR-71 Black Bird
This was made up of a couple different SR71 files and then I spent hours making it into something that you could fit RC parts into. I used 2 x 64mm 11 blade ducted fans using 2 x 4s 2200mah lipo batteries shoved end to end up near the front. The balance point is 26mm back from the front of the ducts, almost in the middle of the airframe. I used LW PLA and came in ready to fly around 4.5 pounds. I recommend a 6s power system as 4s was not enough thrust for a fun flight. See the flight video on TikTok at
I used an ender 3 with 3 - 5% infill - 222 degrees - 0.4mm nozzle, Single wall thickness and I printed a 3 layer skin top and bottom on all the pieces to make smooth body connections. I made provisions in the wings for esc cables and servo wires to run through but are a little tight because of how thin the wing is. I used 3/32" balsa for the elevons and black foam board for the rudders to make them a bit sturdier then the print was for me.
