Shop Vac HEPA Filter Bag Retrofit

These are parts to convert my 16 gal 1980's era Craftsman Shop Vac to use a Ridgid HEPA filter bag. Dust stays in the bag and virtually none escapes out the vacuum exhaust now.

I used some Teflon tape, then slid on the parts and pinned them in place with small sheet metal screws. They could be glued if you prefer.

I needed to use large needle nose pliers (see in photo) to get the bag over the bump ring on the adaptor. But it would not stay on when I tried a smaller bump.
