Summary

This is my first extruder design. It was made to use a MK8 Filament Drive. It is for to be used for dual extrusion.

Instructions

I made this with PLA with 30% fill. Some people may worry about PLA getting to hot but when you use E3D hotend the mounting side does not really even get warm. You will need the following

2 - Nema 17 stepper motors
2 - MK8 Filament Drives
2 - 625ZZ bearings (5x16x5)
4 - 3mm x 30mm socket cap screws (attaching hot ends)
4 - 3mm nylon insert lock nuts (attaching hot ends)
8 - 3mm x 6mm button head screws (attaching steppers)
3 - 4mm x 30mm socket cap screws (mounting to x-axis)
8 - 3mm x 45mm socket cap screws (holding roller to extruder)
8 - McMaster part #9657K271 springs (holding roller to extruder) http://www.mcmaster.com/#9657k271/=vovaio
8 - 3mm hex nuts (holding roller to extruder)
2 - 5mm x 16mm socket cap screws (to hold bearing into roller)
2 - 5mm nylon insert lock nuts (to hold bearing into roller)
