Summary

This birdhouse is really large and requires a printer with a minimum build height of 186 mm (7.35 in), although the bed can be the standard 200 X 200 mm.

Instructions

I printed this in ABS and Bridge Nylon on a modified Prusa i3 that has a 230mm (9in) build height. Sliced with 1mm layers, 15% honeycomb infill, 30mm/sec perimeter speed. No support was required with these print settings.
The entry hole is filled to prevent warping and layer separation, just cut this single layer out with an Xacto or similar knife.

Print one birdhouse, one birdhouse top, and two dowel clips in ABS. Print the bail in Nylon for a sturdier, more flexible piece.

A 1/4in dowel is used to secure the top to the house and the clips keep the dowel from drifting.
