Summary

submersible water pump using a 28 series brushless motor. this was made for an old dji phantom motor I had lying around. the pump has aprox 40mm diameter so it will fit through a stantard container lid opening.

Post-Printing

After printing you have to glue the flange to the rotor housing. I used CA glue which works very well for PETG.

Fix the motor to the base, then glue the motor housing ( you can use CA to bond permanently of another removable adhesive, of course waterproof.)

fit the spacer to the shaft

Bolt on the rotor to the shaft.

at last glue the rotor housing lid. align the notch inside for the water passage.

Most brushless motors will last a long time underwater, especially fresh water. you can protect it with thin epoxy paint. Stainless steel bearings or bronze bushings are preferred.
