Centrifugal Pump Impeller Reverse Engineering

My new scan, a double suction impeller 😎
450mm diameter.

I uploaded both raw scan data (.STL file) and also the final CAD file after reverse engineering (.STP) files. You can download them and use them as an exercise for reverse engineering of an impeller.

This was one of the best impeller I've scanned so far. Very accurate machining and very beautiful casting.
all deep areas are captured successfully and the reverse engineering was satisfying.

I scanned it from about 1.2 meter distance, and you can see the surface details on my scan.

And let's take a look on the accuracy on this scan 😎😎
on the original part, I read the rings diameter for about 264.98 on one side and 264.99 on the other side, using my digital caliper.
and you can see the related numbers on my scan. The difference is less than 0.01mm~0.02mm.
and this is not accidental numbers. If it is accidental, it should not been repeated in the diameter of both sides.
