TV flyback core bobbins

this is part of my research on pulsing core transformers

this is a cheap TV flyback transformer core. the original transformer is less then 15 dollars on ebay, remove the windings and use these bobbins to wind test coils on.

print the bobbin half pointing up, then assemble 2 halves together and put 2 overlapping layers of tape to hold the 2 halves together. then wind your coils.

mainly i use these to test stan meyers VIC coil setup.

stan meyer had over 50 patents, most of which delt with static high voltage to water. he was on channel 6 news running a car on water. there were also many witnesses to that fact that it run.

here is one experiment at making the stan meyer VIC

to hold the same ohms value as the stan meyer original flat cores......
30 ga wire
primary is 10.5 ohms 101.74 feet
secondary is 72.4 ohms 701.55 feet
C1 is 76.1 ohms 737.4 feet
C2 is 70.1 679.26 feet
all will fit on the spools
