Seestar Sun Finder

I use the hot shoe sun finder on my camera and since it's so useful, I decided to try it on my Seestar S50. The Seestar S50 can usually find the Sun on its own but if it doesn't, this can help. All I did was remove the hot shoe adapter, leaving a flat base. Since the Seestar has a flat top, you can easily attach it with some adhesive velcro. It also fits perfectly in the Seestar case under the tripod. Simply move the telescope until the image of the Sun is in the circle. Since you place it by hand, it probably isn't exactly aligned but is usually close enough that you can see the glow of the Sun and figure out which way to move.

This could be attached to other telescopes but works well with the Seestar due to the flat top and no dovetail mount option.
