simple light rotary mortar

My take on a very simple rotary mortar. There are definitly better versions out there, but I thought I try something out.

Note: this thing is rather small, roughly in the range that it should look fitting side by side to my light multilaser as I find the official Guard heavy weapons just too big. One version with handles for carrying one without.
Also regarding the caliber: the mortar rounds have 2,5mm diameter which would be roughly 140mm rounds in real life, so a pretty heavy mortar still.

Added a version with seperate magazine that can be rotated.

changed the files a bit
rotary mortar simplified => thicker parts, no uneccessary open spaces, launch tube almost solid => this one should work better if scaled down to 25% to fit epic scale

the other rotary mortars got a little targeter thingy added and I slightly reworked the "feet" to have a bit more detail and look more posable.

also added a mortar round and 3mf files for you to play around with everything.

13.05.: after printing the full scale thingies using a SDS printing service I noticed a couple of problems. The handles were to thin, the targeter to flimsy and the walls of the magazine to thin. Adjusted all the stuff for the base mortar and the one with the handles. Should work better now.
