Craftsman 113.244513 bandsaw 69174 lower guide

This is a reinforced version of previous Thingiverse 4510630. I use it as the lower blade guide for Craftsman Bandsaw 113.244513. The original part number is Part 69174. The Thingiverse 4510630 part tends to crack between layers as the blade guide set screws are tightened. See blog entry. This part has holes for 2mm screws adjacent to the set screws to clamp the layers and prevent cracking when the set screws are tightened.

An additional problem is moving the thrust bearing, its axle, and the spacers to the new PLA part, as pressing the axle into the PLA part tends to distort it. This part uses a sliding fit for the axle, with set screws to facilitate installation of the thrust bearing, axle and spacers. A small cube of appropriate size is included in the print to put between arms of the part when holding the part in a vice. The part needs to be held in a vice when support for horizontal holes are knocked out with a punch.
