Dynacraft VS-312 bandsaw pulley gear

This part is the motor drive gear for a Duracraft VS-312 bandsaw. The part is based on a Craftsman 113.244510 Bandsaw Belt Pulley link. The original part was mounted on a 1/2 inch motor shaft, but the Duracraft motor has a 10mm shaft. I reduced the hole size of the gear to 10.05mm, however I haven't calibrated hole sizes on my Ender 3 Pro, so other users may have to experiment to get the right hole size.

You can see a discussion of fabricating and installing the gear on a Duracraft VS-312 on the blog entries here and here. The gear has to be an interference fit on the motor shaft, so if the hole is too big it won't work. If the hole is too small it may be too difficult to install. To install the part, I put it in a container and poured boiling water over it, then soaked it in the hot water for 5 minutes to expand the part. The hot part installed easily, tapping it lightly down on the motor shaft with a wooden mallet. Use the old pulley to mark the required position of the gear on the motor shaft on a piece of wood, see the blogpost above, then install the new gear on the motor shaft precisely using that mark.
