Summary

This is a remix of the glass house for dollhouses. This is a beautiful design and quite popular judging from the downloads.
I attempted to fix the problems encountered by others in printing the original design. This remix only includes the modified files. You will need most of the original. This should help those having problems with fitting some of the pieces and reach the final product, which will turn out to be an amazing house!

How I Designed This

My wife absolutely fell in love with this thing so I printed it on my prusa mk3s.
Shortly after, she told me that nothing fit. She asked the creator some questions about it and was told that it was the printers fault.
Incensed, I decided to inspect the dimensions of the files. I make the following observations:

The side walls were designed around standard 3x5 inch (75x25mm) glass slides.
The side walls were somehow scaled down by 10% when they were uploaded and don't fit slides or even the other components.
Most complaints regarding this scaling problem were written off as 'shrinkage' and fault of the printer (although one was greeted with "I don't speak German." ( don't either, so I used google translate. Es funktioniert auch mit Klingonisch. ) Speaking of complaints, I would not measure success by the number of downloads; remixes would be the best measure.
The 10% problem was actually compounded, I believe, by the mistaken belief that standard 75x25mm slides are, indeed, 75x25mm. They are actually 76.2mm x 25.4mm (3"x1". hmm.) which means that they still would not have fit by simply scaling up by 10%. I was lazy here, I actually rescaled by 110.646% to address this.
I thought it would defeat the purpose of including glass in the project only to have hot glue dripped all over in an effort to secure them. Super glue would still risk falling out. So I hastily designed a retention cover. They should snap into place but this is not the optimal answer since it still might pop out. We further secured the edges with hot glue while holding the two pieces securely together. I would welcome suggestions on this since my 9th print still had a bit of play in them. If in doubt, go nuts with the glue. It is breakable glass, after all, so replace the glass with plastic if you're giving it to kids.
The rear glass wall was short enough that it required the brick wall to be higher than the side and front brick. I was much too lazy to embark on a brick making endeavor although the fantastic tutorial included by the creator would have looked quite authentic. Instead, I opted for the easy way out and made some brick walls. files are included for the walls. If you opt for this method as well, then print the optional rear_glass_extension.stl and place above or below the rear glass so you can keep all of the brick work at the same height. The bricks are grouted. I started with red and did a filament change at layer 5 (use your slicer to determine the correct layer change!) for a beige color, followed by a filament change at layer 45 for red again. Hot goo party to connect. I couldn't decide on bricks to outside edge, inside edge, or building centered on bricks, so dry fit the best you can and make your own decision. Since no-one is living in it, close is enough.
The front door turned out to be too tall. Susan had already prepared and glued the 5 pieces together, so instead of having me scale it down, reprint, and her rebonding the whole thing, she decided to add an inside floor and have it open to the outside. No, I am not designing hinges.
printing: I found that I could avoid brims on the bricks by setting the bed to 80 degrees. 1st layer was not enough. Trying cleaning 50 bricks off of the plate once a couple pop off. The clear filament she wanted for the structure also would not cooperate at 60 degrees; I found that 80 fixed that as well. I must admit that I did give the bed a little glue stick action for the long back brick wall since I slices it square to the bed and found that the outermost bricks were prone to being cooler than the center. You might try slicing it diagonally on your bed.
and now perhaps I'm going blind but the GH_END_FILLER_010122.stl elements appear to be not wide enough. I have reprinted a wider version called 'replacement_rear_end_fillers.stl' Let me know if they fit. Pun all you like.

Just for kicks now that I've made a minor career out of this, I'm designing some 'stalks' for the outside. I'm printing 4 of them in green for her. It is notched so it bends over the roof line. If successful I will upload it as well.

additional notes:
I modified the bricks from flossi https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3366542 brick wall.
And finally, Wenn es nicht passt, geben Sie Ihrem Drucker die Schuld!
