PiFinder Telrad Mount

This is a mounting solution for BBLabs PiFinder ( https://www.pifinder.io/ ) that uses the Telrad base instead of the stock Vixen style mount. The holes in the mount use 2.5mm brass inserts, and the Telrad base uses M4 x 6 brass inserts.

The Telrad cleats are installed using the “Tappy-Tap-Tap” method, then securing with Thin CA glue. The GPS antenna holder is secured to the top using Medium CA glue. Let the CA glue cure for about 24 hours since it will deposit a thin coat of white residue. This residue can be wiped off with some acetone on a paper towel.
