Blood slide maker

Manual blood slide maker.

It's a little fiddly, and the other techs didn't really use it, but it was a fun design project.

You're going to need some sort of adhesive for plastic.

The hinge and money clip are modified from things I found here on thinkiverse.

I got the rail from some random vendor on Amazon, and the screws. I believe these sorts of things have standard dimensions. See the picture for an example. The screws just self-tap into the plastic. They're M3 machine screws: 0.5x5mm, and 0.5x6mm.

Update:
I remade the pusher slide holder to make the pushing slide sit flat when pushing. It will need a bearing, which can be had for a few dollars. The bearing's measurements are: 10mm inner diameter, 26mm outer diameter, and 8mm depth. The pusher slide is held on with little paper clips, as shown. The spring is a little stiffer. It's better now, I think.
