Summary

I needed to secure some 3/4" PVC to internal and external locations. Figured... I have a printer and FreeCAD... how hard can it be. Turns out, not hard at all.

This should fit any pipe or conduit with a 1" OD.

How I Designed This

This is a simple set of arch and lines in FreeCAD. The important parts are the initial radius for the inner clip, then determining the thinkness you want. While this could have been done very simply with a parameter table i hardcoded most of it.

Arch 1 Radius is 0.5" (12.7mm) rounded up to nearest mm to allow some slip. This constraint is called "pipe".

Arch 2 radius (the outer edge) is "Contraints.pipe" + 5 mm.

Arch 3 (for the end of the hook) is set to be coincident points with the ends of archh 1&2, with DIAMETER 5mm constainted. Center is constrainted equidistant from arch endpoints.

Set the "hook" ends of Arch 1&2 to be constrained above center line of arch ensuring more than half circle.

Those are the tough parts.

Add a rectangle to the non-hook end for the wall side. resolve open constraints (check for point conicidence if you can't seem to get them to resolve).

I padded the sketch to 1/2" but figure what works for you. 1/4" hole for the drywall screws i'm using to mount them. Set the hole for countersink to make it smooth. use mesh workbench for pretty STL.
