prytool for nokia crt monitors and other general crt monitors

this is a prytool recommended to use for a nokia crt monitor in order to take it apart, this may work on other monitors too that uses tabs to keep the case on, nokia recommends these dimensions for a tool to pry open the casing, i used a screwdriver originally and unfortunately scuffed the casing so i made this tool to do it right, the tool may break when you use it so you may have to print another one, you need 4 at a time as theres 4 slots, the tool worked for me but it got weaker with every try so i would recommend printing additional ones.

i did this on a nokia 4472iplus crt monitor but this works for most nokia crt monitors as the manual shows a different nokia crt so i think the same applies for every nokia crt

open the casing by facing the monitor glass down on a soft surface and keep prying in the 4 slots until it loosens it is very difficult and very frustrating, do not do this when it's standing up as the foot comes out with the casing itself meaning the tube will sit on the frame itself, also do not unscrew the faceplate when the monitor is standing up as it seems to be holding up the entire tube and by unscrewing it you may crack the tubes neck, i was able to remove the casing when the monitor was standing up but i had to put something under the metal frame the tube sits on so i wouldn't recommend it, nokia recommends facing it down on a soft surface
