This vacuum cleaner can be used to remove dust and smoke when processing wood or soldering. An electric motor, 350 watt, from a manual vacuum cleaner is used. The 24 volt 12.5 amp power supply has been modified to a voltage of 20 volts to reduce the power consumed by the motor. A 100 kilohm resistor is installed on top of the existing 20 kilohm one as shown in the photo. Motor current consumption at a voltage of 14.8-21.2 volts 7 amperes, more than 21.4 volts 10 amperes.
