Summary

This is the fitting used to attach a small spotting scope to a Celestron Telescope. A red dot finder or similar spotter with a small dovetail will mount in it.

You will need to install a #8-32 Ruthex insert into the provided hole at the dovetail for the same size screw to hold your spotter in place. Same for attaching the upper dovetail to the base which attaches to the telescope.

The hole patterns here were sized to fit on a C8 classic telescope.
