Accessory mounting bracket for Losmandy HD tripods and piers

The circular standoffs are the main feature here. These standoffs conform to the main 6” diameter cylinder of many Losmandy HD astronomical tripods, adapters, and extenders, and bolt to a pair of parallel 1/4-20 mounting holes intended for Gemini controllers. Note: some older (pre-Gemini) Losmandy tripods, including my older non-folding HD tripod, do not feature the required bolt pattern. Check your tripod or pier before you print!

The included bracket is designed to support an Onstep controller. Specifically,
a 120 x 97 x 40mm aluminum project box (https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Case+120x97x40mm&_sacat=0) commonly recommended for Onstep mount controllers. A pair of 2” x 1/4-20 button head socket cap screws hold the bracket and standoffs snugly against the Losmandy pier extension. The vertical through-hole pattern supports up to 1/4-20 bolts spaced 1.75” apart (3.5” center-center top hole to bottom).
