Printrbot Metal Plus Filament Spool Holder

This is a simple spool holder for the Printrbot Metal Plus (model 1412).

It provides a lower friction feed than placing spools directly on top of the powder-coated metal case (which is good for print quality). It also eliminates the fine powder that gets created as the spools rub on the case.

Version 2 also allows you to print full height parts without the extruder motor hitting the spools sitting on top of the frame. If you haven't noticed, the NEMA motor actually sticks up above the frame at the top of the z travel.

The tubing is "1/2-inch" (actually 0.84-inch OD) PVC tubing like this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-1-2-in-x-10-ft-PVC-Sch-40-Plain-End-Pipe-530048/100113200?N=5yc1vZbuf5. You'll need two, 1-foot long lengths.
