Alkene Molecule Models to scale two sizes (Ethene/Ethylene, Propene/Propylene, cis-2-butene & trans-2-butene)
This design features a collection of alkene molecules. The designs featured are:
-Ethene/Ethylene
-Propene/Propylene
-cis-2-Butene
-trans-2-Butene
-carbon monoxide
This design has 2 types of files, one is to scale with 2mm for the model equals 1 Angstrom in the real world, where the radius of the carbon atoms is 0.914 angstroms, and the hydrogen is 0.53 angstroms. This design is also to scale with two different designs in our library, "Building Block Set - Nanoparticles" and "FCC cube with 100 110 111 plane cleaves" which are sized to represent platinum.
The other file is to scale with 4mm for the model equals 1 Angstrom in the real world, (where the radius of the carbon atoms is 0.914 angstroms, and the hydrogen is 0.53 angstroms). This file is to scale with another design in our library, "Building Block Set - Zeolites (Faujasite and A-type)". This sizing also has files that are able to hold magnets to help showcase them breaking apart and/or bonding to other magnetic pieces in our various sets. When printing the carbon monoxide molecule design, please note that, as it is our only hidden-magnet design, it requires a slightly different printing process, which will be detailed below.
Please take care to select the correct scaling for your model if this is not a stand-alone print.
