Microcentrifuge tube magnetic rack
These racks were designed to print quickly, using a low amount of plastic to keep class costs down. As they were originally meant for phage research we included an engraving.
The racks can also be clipped together for larger projects, allowing us to use them in the research lab when not needed for teaching (Magnet orientation has to be consistent, otherwise the racks repel each other).
The rack uses 1"x1/4"x1/8" magnets, sliding directly into a groove so no glue needed. We got ours from K&J magnetics but compatible ones are available elsewhere. (https://www.kjmagnetics.com/product-search.asp?pg=1&stext=bx042)
