Laser Tracker SMR to Robot Flange Mount

Measurement tool to support laser tracker measurements of robots.
The tool can mount a laser tracker SMR (Spherically Mounted Retroreflectors) to the robot flange with the ISO standard 9409-1-80-6-M8, such as Universal Robots UR series.

The application is to measure robot positions and movements with a laser tracker in a repeatable and traceable way with a low cost and accessible mount.

Additional items required:

• 4x5mm threaded insert and matching screw
• 20x7mm neodymium magnet
• 40mm SMR Monument with magnetic back
• 4x M8 screws to fix the mount to the robot flange

The mount is published as additional open data to the scientific paper: "Construction and Evaluation of a Low-Cost Laser Tracker SMR to Robot Flange Mount" published in the MDPI Sensors Journal.
