Bin Brats

The abstraction of a recycling bin with only openings and no internal container raises a thought-provoking question. Without the familiar structure of a bin that “holds” waste, we are faced with the immediate consequence of discarded items simply falling to the ground or being left exposed. This idea challenges us to reflect on the invisible lifecycle of waste after disposal, the consequences of recycling contamination, and the substantial environmental impact when waste ends up in landfills or incinerated instead of being properly processed.
