Sony Video8 AF CCD-V8AF-E Battery/power pack shell

Pretty much a quick build to get power into a Sony Video8 AF Camcorder to test it (i got it with no batteries, or power supply) had to use trial and error to get a good fit, and i think i got it. Your mileage may vary, bit of trimming on the top curve of the negative side might be needed. depending on printer. any small countersunk screws should work.

I cut some metal contacts from the base of a Pringles can (a piece 40mmx8mm will work, taper the end that goes into the bottom slot, and cut the tab that goes into the front slot to about 4-5mm wide from one edge, mirror it for the other side). Template and measurements included for Tab.

I was unable to find any suitable dimensions for this battery pack or much info so i am sharing this so others in my predicament don't have as hard a time as i did.

Could possibly be modified to fit Li-ion batteries for make 6V pack. butt his one was to solder in some wires for a mains adapter of a suitable power rating.
