Microphones Spacer for ORTF recording

This tool will assist those who need to install a pair of microphones in front of a stage for stereophonic recording using the ORTF technique, with a 110° angle and a 17 cm distance between the microphone capsules.
Once the microphones are placed, this template can be inserted from the bottom of the microphones to check if the angle and distance are perfectly aligned.
The front part with the notch is where the microphone capsule should rest to ensure the precise distance between the channels.
The very high side edges help to fit the template even if the microphones are offset from each other due to their length.
The central arrow helps direct the template towards the center of the stage.
Once the microphones are locked in the correct position, the template can be slid downwards without moving or displacing the microphones.
