HONSVR low profile adapter for PSVR2

This is a set of low-profile lens adapters I designed to work with the HANSVR prescription lens adapters for the PSVR2. I've removed as much material from the top of the adapter as possible and moved the prescription lens itself as close to the PSVR2 lens as possible. With these adapters, I'm able to adjust the PSVR2 a couple of clicks close to my face without the adapters making contact, which, in turn, increases the field of view.

First, install these adapters to the PSVR2. It's a tight friction fit, so it can take a bit of work to get them on, but once installed, they should be snug, while still being easy to remove if needed. The top of the adapters should be flush with the top of the PSCRV lens housing. The HONSVR lenses will just pop out of the original adapter and will snap into this adapter. Align the top edge of the lens in the groove, and snap the bottom in. It's a snug fit, but they should snap in. They can also be slid into the grooves from the inside if you are having trouble snapping them in. The lens will be able to slide right/left a few millimeters once installed, but just center it and once positioned, it should stay put.

NOTE: My initial pair of these adapters snapped at the thinnest portion of the band after having been installed for several weeks straight. I'm sure this was the result of the nature of PLA and the band being under pressure due to the tight friction fit. I've seen this with other "structural" PLA prints in the past. These might be better printed in material such as PETG or ABS. For PLA, a very slight scaling on the X/Y axis to make the fit slightly less snug might also help, but the fit does need to remain fairly snug. If you are paying to have these printed by a service, I would definitely opt for a sturdier material than PLA just to be safe.

UPDATE 12/25/2024: Updated to v2. This update slightly loosens the fit around the PSVR2 lens assembly so that it is still snug, but not quite so tight. Hopefully this will put less stress on the band over time and will eliminate the issues I had with PLA snapping after several weeks. Also increased the width at the thinnest point by 0.4mm (one layer width). This should add further strength. It also helps with some printing services that apparently require thickness of at least 1.2mm for printed parts. In my testing, the added 0.4mm didn't make a noticeable difference in comfort and fit around the nose.
