This part was designed after finding that it has been discontinued and is no longer available, thus rendering a rather good paintball marker unusable due to a weak powertube design.
Please use caution if you intend to make this, it remains untested in the field.
Concept is to print this in ABS and use the acetone fogging method to smooth all surfaces.
Remember, this will be carrying CO2 and should be treated carefully.

*I've tried many times to print this with my own FDM printer but have not so far been successful!
The design file is good, you just might need to use a different printing method, or get someone to mill it out of metal.

So, finally, after 8 years...
I have successfully printed this dimensionally-perfect replica of the JTAC TAC-5 PowerTube on a Creality LD-002H
The pre-sliced chitubox file is what I have used with Creality transparent resin.
It prints with fairly minimal supports, vertically, and has come out with no visible distortion or other ill effects and is basically the same as my original powertube minus the large crack.
Photos are of the powertube without any post-processing apart from snapping off the supports, connection points could do with sanding down.
Sadly I can no longer test it as I don't have the marker anymore but it should be fine to fit and at least as strong as the original.
I'd love some feedback on it if anyone tests one.
