Secondary LAN port adapter for HP ProDesk 400 G4 tiny PC
This adapter allows an Ethernet port to be mounted in the Flex IO slot originally used for an extra display output. This was designed for a ProDesk/EliteDesk G4, but it may fit other generations of HP mini PCs.
The adapter is designed for the RJ45 connector of the RTL8125B-based M.2 2.5G Ethernet card that can be installed in place of the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth M.2: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007031402389.html
The original metal bracket of the connector needs to be unscrewed from the connector's PCB, and instead, mounted on this adapter with two smaller screws you find in your drawer... Then you can screw the assembled part onto the motherboard, in place of the original connector (I used 2,5x10mm wood/chipboard screws). No need for any case modifications if your screw's heads are flat.
It's recommended to print it with the face sitting on the plate, so you don't need any supports.
