Summary

This is a simple replacement for the 18mm spacing belt that holds down the Y axis belt in my prusa. This one has an integral belt tightener so you can actually adjust the belt tension after the thing is assembled.

Instructions

The spacing is set up for my Makerfarm MDF bed (18mm center to center) but should work for others that use the same spacing. I printed a pair, replacing both belt clamps with them. The belt goes under the cutout, and just bridges over the top. On my build, this seems to work great, and fixes two birds with one stone -- Keeping the belt clamps from working loose as they break, and giving me a simple way to adjust the y axis tension.

On the one toward the front, I installed a 3mm x 25mm screw and nut to work a ram I found elsewhere here. That lets me extend the bed all the way forward and get to the screw from the front and tighten the belt between prints if needed.
