VW Porsche Audi VR6 3.2 24v Piston Ring Insert Tool

I designed this tool to help when measuring new piston rings in a VR6 3.2 24v engine with a 84mm bore. This helps with ensuring the rings are correctly positioned (at 90 degrees to the cylinder) so that you can accurately measure the ring gaps (0.20 - 0.40mm). It is tricky on these engines as the cylinders are angled at 15 degrees. To use simply insert the ring into the cylinder and use the tool to push it down into the cylinder and then take the ring gap measurements with the appropriate feeler gauge.
