U.S. Army Patrol Cap Form/Shaper

An expandable form/insert/shaper for U.S. Army Patrol caps in order to keep them nice and crisp. This is designed to fit all PC sizes, hence the adjustable aspect. I Designed this to be easy to print and to be used in conjunction with a garment steamer. This design will likely only work if printed in something that can bend without snapping i.e. ABS, PETG, or Nylon (if you feel fancy). In other words don't print in PLA or other brittle materials.

This design is printed flat and folds in on itself. The gearbox will likely need to be glued closed though since this design relies on friction to keep the gear from slipping.

If you plan on using this with a garment steamer please print with something like PETG or Nylon since you will need a material that is both not brittle and has a higher thermal resistance.

Note: I'm still prototyping this thing so, if you happen to print this, please let me know if you have any critics or improvement suggestions.
Edit: I split the thing into four seperate pieces to actually make it be able to fit on a build plate.
