Display bezel & mount for 4" TFT display
This is a display mount I made for one of my ongoing projects.
It adapts the offset holes in the display PCB to symmetrical fixings around the screen cutout and allows an "invisible" fixing, with the rear adaptor screwing in to the back of the front bezel.
Use the rear section as a template for the outer fixing holes & temporarily fit the bezel without the display to check the main panel cutout is level with or just clear of the inner edge of the bezel.
(I used some insulating tape folded over the panel edge to cover the shiny cut edges, after finishing cleaning up the edges ).
Use two M3 countersunk screws to attach the display to the rear part, with nuts & washers at the display side (see the photos).
Then four appropriate length M3 screws to attach the display through the panel to the bezel.
Note that the screw lengths in to the bezel are critical & depend on the panel thickness! Too short and they will not hold in place, too long and they will distort the front of the bezel.
This was made for the specific 4" display I was using, but I believe several 4" types have the same dimensions and fixings.
The one in the photo was printed on a Kossel XL, using generic PLA.
Clean all the screw holes and carefully tap the ones in the rear of the bezel before assembly.
