COB LED Strip Light Fastener

This fastener is designed to hold 10mm COB LED strips securely against the surface they're mounted to. I use these primarily for anchoring the ends of a strip and keeping it in place when the self-adhesive isn't sufficient.

The indention in the cross-bar pushes against the protective gel of most 10mm COB LED strips enough to secure them without causing damage to the LEDs underneath.

This fastener is designed to be used with #6 pan head sheet metal screws. Other screw types/sizes can be used, but a #6 will be lightly gripped by the mounting holes, making it easier to position during fastening.

30% infill should be enough to prevent damage to the fastener for light torquing of the mounting screws. Higher percentages should be used if more aggressive torquing is needed.
