Summary

A box for the RAMBO controller board. http://www.reprap.org/wiki/rambo

My power supply came with a XLR neutrik plug, hence the socket on the front. Stand offs are for M3 screws. They will probably fit without tapping.

Box is designed in Autodesk 123D design.
Final design has square holes at the front instead of round ones.

Instructions

This box has base dimensions of 145mm x 155mm. So you have to pay attention to warping. I printed this in PLA using the following settings, and still it failed. (I did some not so bright things during the print.)

And since this is a very time consuming print, I set the print speeds as show below. During my first attempts I experienced a thermal stall in the nozzle, because the filament traversed the melt zone to quickly; so it didn't melt fast enough. The temperatures below works on my ReprapPro Mendel.

AND MOST IMPORTANT: I suspect that some of my PLA is contaminated with residue chemicals. If I don't degrease the capton surface the object will surely detach during printing. So give the build platform a solid rub of acetone.

First layer settings for a very slow feedrate of 10 mm/s:
Bed temp 45 C
Hotend 190 C
First layer speed 10 mm/s
Advanced extrusion width modifier for First layer: 98% (in Slic3r)
Advanced extrusion width modifier for Infill: 102% (in Slic3r)

Subsequent layers feedrate 40-60 mm/s:
Bed temp 45 C
Hotend 210 C
Infill 50% (only the bottom of the box.)
Perimeters 10 (because you don't want to infill the walls. it will shake your printer to pieces).
External Perimeter Speed 40 mm/s
Perimeters Speed 50 mm/s
Infill Speed 50 mm/s
Bridges 60 mm/s
Horizontal Shells: 3 top layers. 1 bottom layer (in Slic3r)

STL file was reduced slightly in Meshlab.
