Summary

This calibration object was made to fulfill the need to manually calibrate a XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 with 0.92 repetier firmware.

The sample .stl file is made for the Da Vinci 1.0 printer with 5mm height.

Customize this object in Makerbot Customizer or OpenSCAD

PS: This is my first OpenSCAD project, suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you have made, or plan to make it!

Step-By-Step Instructions

Customize your own calibrator with Makerbot Customizer.
- Make the object dimensions a bit smaller than your maximum print size (ex: 150mmx150mm calibrator for a 200mmx200mm printbed).
Download the customized .stl and start the printjob.
As it's printing, adjust the bed height so that all the circles and lines have the same width (a photo will be attached in a future update).
The plastic should stick to the bed without glue (especially with the Da Vinci 1.0 printer, which came with a gluestick; I'm not a fan of sticky plastic).

Note: The default settings are set for Da Vinci 1.0 printer with 5mm height (1mm height version is also included, as it takes a lot less time to finish printing).
