Rendyr Optic Laser Riser Blocks

The Rendyr Optic laser engraver requires riser blocks for projects thicker than 1/2 inch. These files provide the block sizes and magnet locations which can be 3D printed or carved on a CNC router. The CNC files were designed in VCarve Desktop and Fusion 360. The main riser size is 616mm x 95mm. The side riser size is 616mm x 56mm.

Two blocks are required: a main riser and a side riser. The height can be varied, but by using 1/2", 1", and 2" heights you can stack them to accommodate up to a 4" thick project. All magnet positions are provided on top and bottom of the risers, but not all positions need to be populated with magnets. Please be careful in selecting the magnet polarity to match that of the Optic! The magnets used are 10mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The magnet holes on the bottom of the main riser are slightly deeper to allow for the protrusions on the Optic bed.

The STL files have a 1/2" height. Due to the length, the file may need to be split up for 3D printing.
For CNC, the height is irrelevant if you zero off the top of the workpiece. The top and bottom need to be carved separately. Be sure to flip the parts about the X-axis.

CRV, F3D, STL, and SVG files are provided.
