AC Hidden Blade simple design
Simple hidden blade with four internal components. Blade is activated by a pull and locked in place.
THREE RUBBER BANDS NEEDED
Assembly:
See assembly picture
Place the rod on the right side of the plate in the slot. The loop could be sticking out on the short side of the plate.
Place the L shaped part in the bottom area, making sure the side stick fits in the hole in the plate
Place the blade in the large area in the middle so that the small cutout in the bottom of the blade fits in with the L shape (hooking on to the blade)
Connect a rubberband in between the two cylinders of the blade and the base.
Put on the cover plate
Use a rubberband to connect the two parts sticking out from the L shape through the plate, wrap the rubberband around the whole thing to connect it to the other side. This will provide tension which will lock the blade in place until the rod is pulled.
Put the white part (seen on the assembly picture) in the slot in the plate. Use the same technique by wrapping a rubberband around the whole thing to connect it on the other side. This part will lock the blade in place when it is pulled.
To use:
Pull the loop of the rod to activate the blade. (The loop is to use a string if you have one at home).
The blade should shoot out and lock in its outwards postition.
To put the blade back in its place base, pull the white part (seen in the assembly picture) out of the hole. Push the blade inwards until it locks in.
Then you can use it again.
This is my first post on thingiverse, so any feedback would be appreciated.
Small supports are needed
I used PLA for this one
