Summary

This can be used to recreate the skateboard hole jig as described or you can use it for any other kind of hole jig that uses 80/20 style t-slot aluminum. We wanted the holes to stay perfectly parallel, but we wanted to be able to spread the holes pattern apart for different sized skate boards. I will add another picture once they all print and are being used on our longboards.

Instructions

You will need 40-50 inches of 1 inch t-slot aluminum. In 80/20 brand that is called 10-10
2 pieces of 3 inch by 6 inch aluminum marked and drilled using the hole jig template print. The holes are small on the template, but should fit a mechanical pencil. I did not use this jig, but marked everything with a height gauge. I haven't even printed the jig, but it seemed like a good way for others to mark their plates without having to measure. I could upload a dxf with the hole locations if needed. I cut the aluminum on the table saw and drilled the holes in a drill press to keep them straight. Also I drilled one hole at a time, then bolted the aluminum together as I went to keep them aligned.
8 10-32 bolts and nuts. The ones in the photo were 1 inch, but I replaced them with 1/2 inch after I found them to be too long
8 t-slot nuts and bolts (you can print t slot nuts from thingiverse, but I had some) The nuts have to be the right size width, but when you have the right ones, they pop in really well.
4 prints of the jig. These were printed on an Ultimaker 2, so all tolerances were based on our own known variables.
